How much would the removal of one collection item on my credit report raise my score?

April 30, 2010 · Posted in Equifax Credit Report · 3 Comments

I’ve got one collection item on my report, in the amount of 186 bucks. Up till now, I’ve simply ignored it, as I have qualms with its legitimacy. But I’m wondering now if, by paying this item, I would enjoy a substantial increase in my credit score. My Equifax score is a 661 right now. What sort of increase would I realize from the deletion of this one little item?

Do Follow Blog, KeywordLuv, CommentLuv, Top Commentators

April 29, 2010 · Posted in Experian Credit Report · 28 Comments

If you’re looking for do follow links to your site, you’ve come to the right place. Free Copy Credit Report.Org uses Do Follow, Comment Luv, Keyword Luv as well as Top Commentator. This means that when you leave QUALITY, ON-TOPIC COMMENTS, you will be rewarded with a backlink to your site.

Please be aware that all comments are reviewed before posting and any low quality comments or spam will be deleted. I know the tricks like copying other people’s comments and submitting with your info. These will be trashed and you will only be wasting your time and mine! Just take a few minutes to read the post and write a few sentences about it and your comment will be approved.

Descriptions of the plug-ins:

No Follow

The nofollow attribute was introduced in 2005 to discourage comment spam. While it may help reduce spam, it basically eliminates blogs from search engine listings. The do-follow plugin removes the no-follow attribute from your comments.

CommentLuv

When you put in your information and check the “Enable CommentLuv” box, the plug-in searches and displays your most recent post at the bottom of the current post. This essentially gives you two back-links for just one post.

KeywordLuv

Having a keyword link to your site is much more powerful than just your name as the anchor text. To use this just enter – Your Name@Your Keywords – in the name field. Once posted it will look like this: Your Name Your Keywords says:

Top Commentators

This plug-in rewards the commentators who have contributed the most quality comments with an additional link from all of our pages.

Why does my credit report look good on Equifax but not on Experian?

My credit reports looks good for one agency.
I have a loan in really good standing that is being reported by Equifax on my credit report but when I look at the other, it has no history of the loan. Should this loan be reported to all three of the agencies or is it up to them?

I have helped people repair their credit but how can I turn this into a business?

April 28, 2010 · Posted in Credit Repair · 2 Comments

I am a mortgage loan modification officer and always send customers who have credit issues to a credit company to clean off their credit. I know people can do this on their own, but many do not have the knowledge and time to do it. I have also cleaned customers credit myself including mine and my wife’s as well as friends and family members, but I have been doing it for free. How do I go about opening my own credit repair company? Where do I start?

What’s the difference between the 3 major credit companies Equifax, Transunion and Experian?

April 27, 2010 · Posted in TransUnion Credit Report · 7 Comments

Do different credit inquires look at a specific credit company or do they look at all three to determine your score. Why are there differences between the three reports? One has my gas company account and the other two don’t.
Example: 6 years ago I got a car loan, when they checked my credit they told me I had child support which was not true. I checked my credit report from one of the credit companies (because I didn’t know there were three) and it was not there, so I figured it was a mistake since my dad has the same name as I do and he was paying child support. 5 years later I came to realize that it was on my Transunion report so I took the necessary steps to take it out. Why is this?

Am I not able to ever ask them to verify the debt again because it came back verified once?
