Is it safe to get credit reports and scores from annualcreditreport.com and myfico.com?

I would like to get both my credit report and credit score from all three credit bureaus. I am willing to pay for them, but I want to be sure that my information will be secure. Are both of these sites safe? Which one is better? Thank you!

Both are pretty safe. However, annualcreditreport.com is the site for your free annual credit report from each bureau. The report will show all reported accounts and tell you details about them. You can also get your credit scores from there for a fee.

http://www.annualcreditreport.com is mandated by the government so it should be secure. Follow the links from there and you know you are dealing directly with each of the bureaus. When you order your free reports, you will also have the option to buy your score.

In my opinion, yes. I have used http://www.annualcreditreport.com several times and never had a problem.
